Our white wheat rolls - better known as Rose Roll White - contain not only wheat flour, but also potato and yoghurt. The white wheat rolls have a mild, fresh flavour. They pair well with rich ingredients such as confit duck and soy mayonnaise.

Make the soy mayonnaise: mix the soy sauce with the mayonnaise. Add some brine from the ginger, if necessary. Cut the cucumber into ribbons (using a mandolin) and the lettuce into strips. Store in the fridge.

Defrost and bake the Rose Roll White as directed on the packet. Remove from the oven and leave to cool on a wire rack.
Heat the confit duck and slice, or strip or pull apart for pulled duck.
Cut the freshly baked Rose Roll White open and assemble your roll: first the soy mayonnaise, then the confit duck.
Top with the cucumber, lettuce, ginger, and freshly ground salt and pepper.
Serve immediately!
