What do you do on an average day at La Lorraine Bakery Group?
Simona: “Phew, every day is different. My day usually begins with answering customer questions. Then I continue on with purchasing products or developing a product presentation for a customer. I also often gather up some samples, bake them and deliver them to customers so they can get to know our new products. And, let’s be fair, I also lose a lot of time on the busy roads of Prague. Why is it always so hard to find a parking spot?! (laughs)”
What tips and tricks would you like to share with our B2B customers?
Simona: “You can provide your customers with the tastiest bread by following the instructions on storage, defrosting and baking as carefully as possible. My colleagues and I spend a lot of time perfecting those instructions (laughs). We are constantly testing new technologies to stay up to date and provide you with the very best products.”
What tasty trends do you see on the horizon?
Simona: “Small and large breads inspired by national traditions and/or local ingredients such as lye rolls: an Eastern European delicacy, which shares similarities with the pretzel. We like to fill them with lots of vegetables and herbs to create a healthy bite. Another tip: upgraded croissants and local viennoiserie like Danish pastries with poppy seeds or Danish pastries with cherries.”
