1 hot dog

1 little gem lettuce

25 g mango chutney

10 g pomegranate seeds

10 g mayonnaise

extra: chervil, chopped

Hot dogs appeal to everyone. Especially when you use quality basics, such as a crunchy white baguette that goes great with a tender hot dog. Classic, veggie or vegan hot dog? The choice is yours. Just be sure never to compromise on flavour and try this colourful little gem: a mango and pomegranate combo.

Mise en place

< Max 4 hours in advance >

Thaw and bake the Country Style white baguette
as directed on the packet. Leave to cool on a wire rack.

Preparation

  1. Grill the hot dog.

  2. Cut the baguette in two. Spread mayonnaise on both halves and top one half with a lettuce leaf. Top with the hot dog, chutney, pomegranate seeds, some chervil and freshly ground salt and pepper.

  3. Serve immediately!

"You can choose a classic hot dog sausage (e.g. Wiener or Texas Style) as well as a veggie or even a vegan version. In the latter case, opt for vegan mayonnaise too!"
