Fan of the Caesar Salad? Then try this Caesar Sandwich with chicken, avocado, lettuce, parmesan and the essential Caesar dressing made with anchovies, garlic and lemon. This we pair with a rustic "Country Style" baguette. This baguette has a toasted flavour, which goes very well with the smoked chicken. Give it a try!

Thaw and bake the brown Country Style demi baguette as directed on the packet. Leave to cool on a wire rack.
Slice the smoked chicken into strips and cut the baguette in half.
Spread the Caesar dressing on both halves. Cover one half with the chicken, lettuce and avocado.
Top with the parmesan flakes and freshly ground salt and pepper.
Serve immediately!

"Did you know that the original Caesar Salad doesn't actually contain chicken? Great if you want to cut costs and/or serve your vegetarian customers. If necessary, include a boiled egg for extra flavour."

"You can also make the Caesar dressing yourself with 75 ml of peanut oil, 50 ml of yoghurt, 1/2 tsp mustard, 1 egg yolk, 1 clove of garlic, 1-2 anchovy fillets and a squeeze of lemon. Mix and season with salt and pepper. Store in the fridge.”
